Meet Brooke

The Thigpen Group is pleased to welcome Brooke Hughes as our Summer 2026 intern. A Luckyday Scholarship recipient, Brooke is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance at the University of Mississippi. Her academic journey continues after previously graduating Magna Cum Laude from Northwest Mississippi Community College, where she earned an Associate of Arts in Business Administration and served as Vice President of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

Originally from Oxford, MS, Brooke has cultivated a strong professional foundation through a variety of client-facing and administrative roles. Currently, she is the Administrative Assistant at EquiPro Holdings, an Oxford-based private equity firm, where she supports daily operations, manages vendor and client communications, and assists leadership with key organizational initiatives. Her background also includes retail and front desk experience, giving her a well-rounded perspective on building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional service.

Brooke is passionate about wealth management with a long-term goal of building a career in financial advisory. She is driven by a commitment to hard work, meaningful connections, and continuous personal and professional growth. Outside of work and academics, Brooke enjoys running, cooking, and spending quality time with family and friends. We are thrilled to have her join our team this summer and look forward to all that she will contribute.
