David brings more than 40 years of wealth management, strategic trust administration, executive level leadership and accounting expertise to the team. His primary focus is working with high net worth individuals and families to help navigate and address the federal estate tax exemption that is set to “sunset” after December 31, 2025.

David graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and began his career with KPMG in Jackson, Mississippi. His professional path includes Trustmark National Bank, where he assisted affluent families and business owners in their estate and business continuity services; Trust Officer at Arvest Wealth Management in Jonesboro, Arkansas; and most recently Chief Financial Officer for the Episcopal Diocese of Mississippi, where he oversaw planned giving and a $30 million endowment.

David’s drive to stay at the forefront of the ever-changing financial services industry has led him to achieve several professional designations, including Certified Financial Planner®, Chartered Financial Consultant® and a Master of Science in Financial Services. David is a member and past president of the Estate Planning Council of Mississippi, a member of the Mississippi Society of CPAs and a member of the Estate Planning Council of New Orleans.

David is an active member of St. James’ Episcopal Church in Jackson. He and his wife, Susan, live in Ridgeland and are the parents of one son, Michael.
